writing-as-a-careerNot many have a clue about how it feels like to see an article written by you being published in a magazine, newspaper or a website. You for sure would feel buoyant and on the top of the world. You’ll find confidence overflowing in you every time you go through it.

To take up writing as a career you need to have patience and most importantly the determination to accomplish a task which has been handed over to you or something which you have voluntarily taken up. Gone are the days when people considered writing as a hobby and never let it be a part of their mainstream career.

Good writers are widely being appreciated these days. Being a good writer doesn’t mean you need to write a book, shoot a movie on a sequel and find reviews in newspapers. That’s a good thing if you can but not all can do it. You might be a good writer but might not to be looking forward to write a book or something. But you always have many other opportunities related to it.

You can find innumerable number of jobs all around and most importantly in the most interesting industries. You could become a script writer, editor of a magazine or a newspaper or with an extra degree in hand like mass communication or a PhD in English language or literature you can even take up editing jobs and find yourself in a good designation in the coming years.

Always remember that you need not have to write in a genre which doesn’t interest you. That might lead to writer’s blocks and eventually you might lose track and consider different options. And also remember to model a writer whose writings you have always admired. Writing is an art. Never copy lines from someone else because it hurts when someone copies what you had written taking great pains.

And coming to the remuneration it depends on what you give and what kind of a job you opt for. Writers are always well paid because of all the hard work they do. At the end of the day, they deserve good. If you have the talent, then just don’t give space for a second thought.
