Study Health Economics in Australia

Health-Economics1Numerous professional programmes in Health Economics are offered by several reputed Australian universities such as University of Queensland, Monash University and University of Adelaide for international applicants.

Master of Philosophy (Economics Research on Health) and Doctor of Philosophy (Economics Research on Health) are the major advanced programmes offered by the Australian National University. Educational expenses for this academic programme may not exceed AUS $24,000 a year for international students. These programmes are offered as full time on campus study programmes which normally begin in the month of February. A Master of Health Economics programme is also available here. Cost of this programme is approximately AUS $22,800 for the entire course.

A world renowned Australian university, University of Queensland offers different specializations in Health Economics. Major study programmes taught at the university include courses such as Graduate Certificate in Health Economics (tuition fee is about AUS $11,750 for the entire course); Graduate Diploma in Health Economics (tuition fee is about AUS $26,650 a year);  Master of Health Economics (Advanced) in Economic Evaluation (Cost of the programme is approx. AUS $23,500 a year); Master of Health Economics (Advanced) in Health and Development (Cost is approx. AUS $23,500 a year); Master of Health Economics in Economic Evaluation (Cost is approx. AUS $26,650 per semester) and Master of Health Economics in Health and Development (Cost is approx. AUS $26,650 a year).

Reputed universities like Monash University and University of Adelaide also award various degrees in Health Economics. Monash University award a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics and Evaluation which will cost about AUS $25,440 a year for the entire programme. This course is offered as a full time, one year duration advanced diploma programme.

University of Adelaide has a programme titled Master of Health Economics and Policy which costs around AUS $22,000 a year for international students. This is a full time one year duration post graduate degree programme.
