A first level advanced national diploma titled as ‘Sport, Outdoor Adventure Pathway BTEC National Diploma’ is available at the Craven College for all eligible applicants. This is a one year duration full time study programme.
In addition to this, one week duration certificate programmes in outdoor studies such as “Hill Walking Introduction” and “Rock Climbing Introduction” are conducted at the Bicton College campus. Lancashire Adult Learning institute also conducts a certificate level programme in “Nordic Walking”. This is also a one week duration training programme in Outdoor Studies. Another weekly training programme in outdoor studies is “Walking Group Leader Training Level 3 “conducted at the Bridgwater College campus.
