Literature and Writing Courses in UK

Literature and Writing Courses are available in several UK universities in the subject areas such as American Literature and Culture; Transatlanticism; Modern Scottish Writing; Postcolonial Studies, Highlands & Islands Literature and Irish Writing.

University of Leeds offers one year post graduate programme, American Literature and Culture MA which commences in the month of September. University of Winchester is also popular in the field of American Literature courses and courses available at the university are Advanced Diploma in American Literature and Creative Writing and American Literature and Creative Writing BA (Hons).

English & American Literature courses are also available in many UK universities. University of Kent offers several academic programmes in this field such as English & American Literature and Classical & Archaeological Studies BA (Hons); English & American Literature and Drama & Theatre Studies BA (Hons); English & American Literature and French BA (Hons); English & American Literature and History & Philosophy of Art BA (Hons); English & American Literature and History BA (Hons) and English, American and Post-Colonial Literatures BA (Hons).

University of Ulster conducts MA-Irish Literature in English and PG Diploma-Irish Literature in English. Queen’s University Belfast offers English (Irish Writing) – PG Diploma and English (Irish Writing) MA.

Uhi University offers three courses in Highlands & Islands Literature. These are PG Certificate in Highlands & Islands Literature; PG Diploma in Highlands & Islands Literature; and Highlands & Islands Literature MA. All courses commence in the month of September.
