Learn Korean Language in Australian Universities

Korean language is taught as a professional subject in the reputed Australian educational institutions such as the University of Queensland; the University of New South Wales and the TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute.

University of Queensland provides bachelor degrees such as Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Korean and Bachelor of Arts in Korean  for those who wish to learn Korean language in Australia. Cost of this bachelor program is approximately AUS $19,275 a year and course duration is three years.

University of New South Wales is a major education destination for the international students who want to learn Korean language and gain professional qualifications in this language. Degrees such as Bachelor of Arts in Korean Studies and Bachelor of Commerce in Korean Studies are offered for a tuition fee of about AUS $585 per credit / unit of the program. Duration of the degree program is three years. One year duration Diploma in Languages (Korean Studies) is available at the university for a course cost of about AUS $455 per credit / unit of the program. Another one year duration diploma, Graduate Diploma in Arts by Research (Korean Studies) is also available for the overseas students for a course cost of about AUS $415 per credit / unit of the program. Advanced qualifications in Korean language and Korean studies such as master degrees and doctoral degrees are also provided by the University of New South Wales. Doctor of Philosophy (Research) in Korean Studies is a four year duration course and course cost is approximately AUS $18,720 a year. Master of Arts (Extension) in Korean Studies may take one to two years of regular university education for the course completion and cost of the course is approximately AUS $425 per credit / unit.

Another major education centre to learn Korean language in Australia is TAFE NSW – Sydney Institute. One year duration Advanced Diploma of Interpreting and Translating (Paraprofessional level) Korean is offered for a course cost of AUS $15,140 for the entire course and a six month long Diploma of Interpreting (LOTE/English) (Korean) is offered for a cost of AUS $5,570 for the entire course. All these courses are offered as full time academic programs.
