Learn Chinese Language in Singapore Universities

In Singapore, major education centres for learning Chinese language are National University of Singapore; Nanyang Technological University and SIM University.
National University of Singapore provides bachelor degrees such as B.A. (Honours) Single Major in Chinese Language; B.A. Second Major in Chinese Language and B.A. Single Major in Chinese Language at an estimated educational cost of SING $28,930 for the entire program.
Nanyang Technological University offers B.A. in Education – Chinese/Malay Language (Primary) and B.A. in Education – Chinese/Malay Language (Secondary) at an estimated tuition fee of SING $9540 per year. A four year duration Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Chinese is also offered at the Nanyang Technological University. Major post graduate level qualifications available at the university are M.A. and Ph.D. in Chinese – Chinese Overseas and their languages, culture and history; M.A. and Ph.D. in Chinese – Chinese literature, language, history and philosophy and M.A. and Ph.D. in Chinese – Cultural studies of China and Singapore. A Master of Education in Chinese Language Education is also offered at a cost of about S$7370 per year. Both full time and part time study options are available and course intake is twice a year, in the months of January and August respectively. Nanyang Technological University also offers a doctoral qualification, Ph.D. in Chinese / Malay / Tamil Language and Literature. A short term diploma program in Chinese language, Diploma in Teaching Chinese Language conducted at the Nanyang Technological University is a well respected academic program offered in the discipline of Chinese language.
SIM University conducts BA (Honours) in Chinese Language and Literature at an approximate cost of S$38076 for the entire course and BA in Chinese Language and Literature at an approximate cost of Cost S$28956 for the entire course. Both the courses are offered as full time regular academic programs and course intake is in the months of January and July. A post graduate degree in Chinese language, MA in Chinese Language and Literature is also awarded by the SIM University. Education cost of the program is about S$21600 for the entire program. PhD in Chinese Language and Literature, a doctoral level qualification available at the university may cost about S$32200 for the entire course.
