ISEE is Independent School Entrance Exam that is conducted for students who wish to get admitted in private schools. The exam is carried out in the United States of America with the sole aim of selecting the best students for private school education considering the level of academic standard of these schools.

Private education is the wish of every parent for his child. The education does not come without its cost but has many advantages. In order to get admission in a private school or institute it is mandatory to take and clear the ISEE or SSAT.

Simply clearing the ISEE is not enough. The candidate has to score brilliantly in the exam in order to increase his/her chances of being admitted in a school of their choice. The competition is very high and lot of hard work is required for preparing for ISEE.

The ISEE is a highly advanced exam that helps determines students’ knowledge and learning curve in contrast to that of their peers. The exam is in accordance with the standards of the International Reading Association, the National Council of Teachers of English and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Hence children across states and schools get a fair chance to tackle the exam.

The ISEE is a very difficult exam to clear as only 15-20% of the candidates are selected each year. A data of more than 80% failures each year says a lot about the standard of the exam. The exam is a tough nut to crack and required plenty of hard work and preparation. Parents should help their children prepare for the test by ensuring a strict and disciplined routine at least six months before the test. Six months is adequate time for the child to perfect the practice and model sample papers.

The exam has been patterned in a manner that tests the child’s capabilities in areas like reading comprehension, quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and mathematics. The questions test your mental and aptitude skills. Intensive studying is the key to ace the exam. Six months of hard work can get your child admission in a prestigious school of his/her choice.
