Admission to Insead MBA is monitored and regulated by Insead’s admission committee. Admission procedure is lengthy and tough and consists of an initial screening stage which is followed by two interviews. Minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Insead MBA require that the candidates must have at least a relevant bachelor’s degree with a good English language capability. English language proficiency must be proven with a TOEFL or IELTS score for non- English speaking candidates while English-speaking candidates must produce an entry level language certificate.
The application form for admission, which is available from Insead’s official website, must be accompanied by a covering application letter, detailed essays to support the candidate’s application, a detailed candidate profile, two references or recommendation letters, transcripts of all academic documents including that of the bachelor degree, a relevant GMAT score (which is normally above 700) and an integrity statement.
On receiving the application form from the candidate, the admission committee will verify his eligibility and the candidate, upon fulfilling the eligibility criteria, will be notified by the admission committee for the second stage of the selection process which will comprise of two personal interviews. These personal interviews are generally taken by two Insead alumni in the candidate’s country of residence. The candidate will be informed about the outcome of his interviews within weeks after the interview.
