BA in history, MA in history and PhD in history are taught in many Canadian universities namely, Carleton University; Dalhousie University; Memorial University of Newfoundland; University of New Brunswick; University of Manitoba; University of Victoria; University of Calgary; Simon Fraser University; University of Guelph; McMaster University; University of Ottawa; Queen’s University; University of Waterloo; The University of Western Ontario; Wilfrid Laurier University; York University; Concordia University; University of Saskatchewan; McGill University and the University of British Columbia.
The University of Winnipeg; University of Northern British Columbia; University of Lethbridge; Brock University; Saint Mary’s University; Lakehead University; Laurentian University of Sudbury; Nipissing University; Trent University; University of Windsor and the University of Regina also offers BA in History and MA in History
BA in history is also conducted at the Cape Breton University; Bishop’s University; Mount Allison University; Mount Saint Vincent University; St. Francis Xavier University; St. Thomas University; Acadia University; Athabasca University; University of the Fraser Valley; Thompson Rivers University; Trinity Western University; Vancouver Island University; Algoma University; Brescia University College; Huron University College; King’s University College at The University of Western Ontario; Redeemer University College; Royal Military College of Canada; St. Jerome’s University and the University of Prince Edward Island.
Apart from these, University of Alberta offers history study programmes like BA in Classics; BA in History; BA with major in History; PhD in history & classics and MA in history & classics. The University of King’s College offers a BA (combined honours) in History of Science and Technology.
Another reputed college, the King’s University College conducts a 4-year BA in politics, history and economics; 3-year BA with a concentration in history and a 4-year BA in History. St. Thomas More College; Brandon University and the Canadian Mennonite University are also conducting a BA in History (4-year Honours major) and BA in History (3-year major).
