Asia Pacific School of Sports and Business is a reputed academic institution in Singapore that offers fulltime, part time and distance learning study programmes in different areas like sports, sports management, business and hospitality. The school conducts both full time and part time courses in football administration. Certificate in Football Administration  is a short term full time certificate level academic programme which is offered as a regular on-campus course for the international applicants. This certificate is of duration between one and three months and educational expenses may come about S$3000 for the entire course. Part time certificate programmes in football administration is also available at the school. An advanced diploma in football administration titled ‘Diploma in Football Administration’ is also on offer at the school. Cost will be approximately S$7000 for this one year duration diploma.

The Football Association of Singapore

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is the professional football organisation in Singapore. The FAS is the official representative of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the official governing organisation of Asian football.

FAS conducts various levels of AFC Certificate Coaching Courses such as AFC ‘B’ Certificates, AFC ‘C’ Certificates and so on. AFC ‘C’ certificate is necessary to apply for AFC ‘B’ certificate programme. Main application requirements for the entry of AFC ‘C’ certificate level programme requires the applicant must be a holder of AFC ‘C’ Certificate with the minimum age limit of 23 years and physically strong enough to participate in football coaching practical sessions. He must also pass a National Skills Test conducted by the FAS.  Relevant professional coaching experience of at least two years is also an essential requirement for getting admission to AFC ‘C’ certificate programme. Course fee for this programme is approximately SGD$760.00. Course dates of AFC ‘C’ certificate programmes for the session 2009-2010 are 3 to 14 November 2009 for Part 1 and 8 to 17 March 2010 for Part 2.
