Event management is a growing industry which largely comprises of event management firms and entertainment management firms. Event management is nothing but the management of events and functions such as corporate product launching parties, business meetings and conferences, road shows for product promotion, high profile wedding and birthday parties, business inaugural ceremonies, brand building parties, award shows, fashion shows and such other events.

The most sought after career in this field is as event managers who are responsible for the entire planning, organizing and execution of an event.
