University of South Australia is preferred by overseas students for gaining qualifications like Graduate Certificate in Management (Innovation and Entrepreneurship); Graduate Diploma in Management (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) and Master of Management (Innovation and Entrepreneurship). Cost of the master program is AUS $13,500 a year and duration is 1.5 years. Cost of the graduate diploma is AUS $18,000 a year and duration is one year. Cost of the graduate certificate is AUS $9000 for the entire program which lasts for six months.
Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) program available at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) and the University of Ballarat are also preferred by the overseas students. Cost of the RMIT program is approximately AUS $18,720 a year while cost of the Ballarat university degree program is about AUS $14,600 a year.
Popular master degrees in entrepreneurship comprise those offered by the University of Newcastle (Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship) and the University of Queensland (Master of Business Advanced in Entrepreneurship and Master of Business -Entrepreneurship). While the doctoral qualification provided by the University of New South Wales, Doctor of Philosophy Research in Strategy and Entrepreneurship is also in demand among the overseas students.
For specialization programs in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation; University of Adelaide; Murdoch University and Swinburne University of Technology are generally preferred.
University of Adelaide offers six month long Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship; one year Graduate Diploma in Innovation and Entrepreneurship; one year long Master of Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship and 1.5 year duration Master of Applied Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Advanced) for a tuition fee of about AUS $25,000 a year. Murdoch University conducts a three year duration Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship and Innovation program for a course cost of about AUS $17,250 a year and a four year duration Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology)/Bachelor of Commerce (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) program for a fee of about AUS $21,000 a year. Major entrepreneurship and innovation programs offered by the Swinburne University of Technology are Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship and Innovation); Graduate Certificate of Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Graduate Diploma of Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Honours) and Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI). Cost of the program is approximately AUS $20,250 a year.
Australian universities namely, Curtin University of Technology (Bachelor of Commerce – Entrepreneurship and Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship); Bradford College (Diploma of Commerce – Entrepreneurship) and Victoria University (Bachelor of Business-Small Business and Entrepreneurship) also offer some reputed academic programs in entrepreneurship.
