Major Counselling Therapy Courses conducted at the University of Nottingham include courses such as Awareness & Communication Foundation Degree, Comparative Humanistic Counselling Foundation Degree, Counselling Children and Young People MA, Human Development Theory & Psychopathology Foundation degree, Humanistic Counselling Studies or Practice Diploma, Personal Therapy & Personal Development Diploma and Trauma Studies PG Certificate. University of Bath is well known for Addictions Counselling academic qualifications and two major courses available at the University of Bath are Addictions Counselling BSc and Addictions Counselling Foundation Degree. University of Bristol are popular for its post graduate courses such as Counselling in Education M.Ed, Counselling in Education PG Certificate and Counselling in Education PG Diploma.

One week long training programmes on Effective Therapy for Low Self Esteem (LSE), Effective Therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)  and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) – Counselling Survivors of Trauma are conducted at the University of Wales, Newport, UK while City Lit, UK conducts one week long training programmes on Counselling – Working with Anger and Counselling – Working with Mental Illness.
