Kinesiology is a branch of human physiology which studies the phenomenon of the human body movement. In other words, Kinesiology is the art and science of human kinetics. A person who is academically qualified to practice Kinesiology as a profession is called a Kinesiologist.

Major responsibility of a Kinesiologist is to evaluate and assess the physical activity and related body movement of his clients and accordingly recommend solutions for the overall welfare of his clients.
Professional Kinesiologists are employed in Health sector, Sports sector, Educational institutions, Rehabilitation centres and other related Social Settings. Kinesiologists can also work as Athletic Coaches, Athletic Therapists, Massage Therapists, Physical Trainers, Fitness Consultants, Health and Wellness Consultants, Chiropractors, Occupational Health Consultants, Sports Managers, Physical Education Instructors, Physical Therapists, Physiotherapists and so on. Experienced Kinesiologists can set up a Kinesiology therapy centre and work as a freelance Kinesiology consultant.
